Daphne Austin

Daphne is the Director of the Counselling Centre. She enjoys the challenge of helping people reach their full potential - in life, in relationships, in work, ministry, or whatever field they find themselves involved in. Daphne is a wife and mother of three adult, married children, and has been involved in psychology, and counselling for almost 20 years, and more recently pastoring. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, holding degrees in Arts, and Behavioural Sciences, and has completed post graduate theological studies through Tabor College, Adelaide.

Having herself come from a difficult family background, Daphne personally and professionally understands what is needed to work through family and life issues to reach one's potential. Vocationally, initially from a nursing background, having worked as a Registered Nurse, she holds a particular interest in the interplay of health, mental health and psychology, and for many also the interplay of one's spiritual journey of life. Daphne offers counselling, training and equipping, supervision and workshops either at your location or from the Centre.
